When I think of inclusion in Kansas, a major group at the forefront of my mind is Center of Daring. Liz provides a unique consultation experience. It’s centered in compassion and love, but also sets the stage for individuals and groups to look beyond their biases, challenge systems of oppression, and advocate for issues that matter.

The skills and frameworks I’ve gained working with Liz in various capacities are helping me leverage strengths and use my gifts in ways I have wanted to, but haven’t known how to. I called on Liz to guide me through a situation that my LGBTQ kid was having at his school, and then to facilitate a conversation with the teacher involved. She gave me the courage and the focus I needed to go into the conversation with confidence, and then she masterfully guided us through the conversation. Liz was able to hold the teacher accountable while not putting him on the defensive, and to find common ground and areas where we could meet in the middle without abandoning our values. Liz’ experience, expertise, and abilities are an invaluable resource for the community, and I would hire her over and over again.
